I have created this small conceptual environment with the initial goal of practicing the fundamental aspects of hard surface modeling. The design was primarily inspired by the minimalist style of Cycladic residences with contemporary interior elements. The room itself is, perhaps, a semi-private spa space, where one can relax and unwind whilst hiding from the midday sun, a mixture of living room and bathroom features. All meshes were modeled and designed from scratch without using any outside references, (with the exception of the plant), it was a test for me to try and bring to life whatever shape and object was in my imagination at the time. Though most of them are rather simple, I am happy that I've managed to establish correct edge flow and topology throughout. The three angels and renders represent different times of day, hence the sun light coming from different directions, the windows are intended to be south facing.
Al though I am a big fan of dreamscapes, I still wanted to convey a feeling that these are real spaces you can imagine yourself visiting.
